DESCRIPTION:SIGGRAPH thrives because of the quality and diversity of o
 ur members, and the tremendous value of the work they produce in a wid
 e range of disciplines. From students to studio heads, from independen
 t artists to scientists and researchers, SIGGRAPH gives you an opportu
 nity to present your work to colleagues, old friends, and industry pee
 rs you have yet to meet. You'll also get to see their work, and meet a
 nd socialize with them. This year we're also expanding our focus to in
 clude gaming as well as music and audio. As was done last year, SIGGRA
 PH will again implement a unified General Submission process that allo
 ws contributors to submit content to be evaluated across several forma
 ts.\n\nEvery piece submitted to SIGGRAPH 2009 through the Call for Sub
 missions is reviewed by a highly qualified jury composed of top practi
 tioners in the relevant field. Because we want each jury to have the t
 ime to review each piece carefully, submission deadlines generally are
  several months ahead of the conference itself. All the submission dea
