Application Engineer at SpaceClaim

SpaceClaim is looking for a qualified individual to work as an Application Engineer. The candidate will be required to support pre/post sales and marketing activity by conducting product demonstrations and training classes, helping to develop web based sales, marketing, and training collateral. The candidate must be able to work directly with prospects and customers in high-pressure situations; have strong analytic, organizational, time management, and communication skills; thrive in a team environment; and possess the willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve the highest customer satisfaction. The candidate will provide comprehensive telephone/web/e-mail technical and application support to SpaceClaim prospects, customers and channel partners by analyzing, tracking and resolving issues, as well as identifying alternate application approaches when necessary.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
* 1-3 years experience using and/or supporting a 3D CAD/CAE system
* Experience with Camtasia and/or other video creation tools
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Outstanding interpersonal and telephone skills are a must.
* Strong problem solving skills
* Ability to function and thrive in a team environment with an appreciation of aggressive goals
* Energetic, with a strong desire to succeed
* Ability to travel
