SpaceClaiming

The Online Community About Exciting New CAD Technologies

We started SpaceClaiming over one year ago. While we keep working to improve the website based on occasional feedback from community members, I would like to get a direct, honest opinion from you. Tell us what can be improved, what should be changed, and what you like of SpaceClaiming. We are looking at ways to make this the best place in Internet where SpaceClaim users and fans of new CAD technologies can meet and discuss about features, technologies, and every topic related to their design activities.

Let us know by leaving a comment to this forum discussion, we would love to hear from you!

Thank you!

First I compliment SpaceClaiming: though in recent months seems to me that there is a bit less participation (it would be important a greater involvement of software houses), I believe that this forum is a very useful, especially in the case of SpaceClaim, about which is sometimes difficult to discuss where is not yet pupular as in Italy. In particular, I think that topics as "SpaceClaim Release 5 (and 6 too) ideas" are very powerful tools.

Suggestions: give priority to the "forum" than the "community" (some things like "gifts, fake users, firends / invite" are more suitable to Facebook:)

Thank you Matteo for your feedback,
Gifts are part of the Ning gadgets, I Don't want to emphasize them ,neither to disable that feature.

The Forum is in the most prominent area of the front page, I don't know how I can make it even more visible.

I recently went through the Forum categories reassigning old discussions and adding a few new categories to make it easy to find the topics people are looking for. I agree with you that the main problem is that we have only a few active discussions and a complete the manufacturer is not playing any significant role in this community.

Hi,Anyone know how to scale the main design window?I design small objects and would like to see them at a 1:1 scale. In other words, if the object is 8mm by 6mm, I would like to see it life-size on the screen. I can do it on a drawing sheet but that…
