The Online Community About Exciting New CAD Technologies

I am a long-time user of VectorWorks user who has not used the program for a few years. I have 10.5.1 version that will not print using my Mac OS X. I am looking for the most cost effective way of purchasing a version that will work on my computer and I can print from. I cannot even purchase the 2010 upgrade. Does it make sense to purchase 2009 version? Does anyone know if it will work on my computer? I can then upgrade to 2010 later on.

Hi Colleeen,
You will not able to find any regular license of Vectorworks 2009. Nemetschek for some special cases can release an old license but at the same price of the latest. One option you can try is to download the latest Free Vectorwoks 2010 Viewer from Nemetschek. You may be able to open your 1.5.1 files and print them from the Viewer.
This is the download link: http://download4cf.nemetschek.net/nnapub/mac/2010/InstallVectorwork....

Let me know if it works.

Hi,Anyone know how to scale the main design window?I design small objects and would like to see them at a 1:1 scale. In other words, if the object is 8mm by 6mm, I would like to see it life-size on the screen. I can do it on a drawing sheet but that…
