Hear, hear......I totally agree on this.
That's my problem too.
:O) Any chance we finally get to a stage where applications become independent from the OS we use? :O)
Oh how I am fed up with using OSes only because there is that killer app that requires me to do so and have to fiddle with all their shortcomings…
Any change of spaceclaim coming to Linux?
I actually mean a STL file import possibility and an STL editor to edit the STL file with push/pull.
For instance CopyCad from Delcam does a great job on this called tribit modelling.
A STL file converter/editor to editable file would make a nice feature.
When will R5 be available?
When I open a pro/E file with family members parts, the parts are all shown as the generic model from the family table.
Also STL parts are not shown.
I'm not sure about the processor you are using, but as far as modelling goes I have had not problems at all using SpaceClaim on Duo Core machines with Nvidia Geforce video cards (8600GT and 9800). However, when it comes to detailing (drawings), it i…
